Rainbow Wool
The first textile made from the wool of gay rams makes a bold fashion statement for acceptance and equality of the LGBTQIA+ community worldwide.
The yarn for Rainbow Wool comes from shepherd Michael Stücke's farm in Löhne, North Rhine-Westphalia. While gay rams have no "value" in industrial breeding and are therefore usually killed quickly, they enjoy a long life on the Rainbow Wool Farm and continuously provide their high-quality wool for statement looks.
Danny Reinke, in collaboration with Bill Kaulitz, developed an exclusive look consisting of a long-sleeved top and a striking jumpsuit. The jumpsuit, clearly bearing Reinke's signature style, is a celebration of diversity and unity. It was crafted from hand-blended wool from all breeds in the flock. Reinke explains: "It was important to us to process the wool by hand from start to finish and to demonstrate that Rainbow Wool can be couture."
As part of the F/W 24 collection, SCHRAMM and Danny Reinke collaborated for the first time, creating unique looks that bring together the fusion of both brands on a artisanal level.
An essential element of the collection is the dream aspect. A bed, placed in the middle of the runway, serves as the setting for the show's opening and a central prop for introducing the dramatic structure. Directly linked to the collection's first key look, this place of rest and peace connects the two worlds of dream and reality.
For 100 years, SCHRAMM has focused on providing exceptional sleeping comfort. Each mattress is handcrafted in Germany, resulting in unique pieces that take into account the parameters of the human body and the individual's habits and preferences down to the smallest detail. The sophisticated design of the beds is also in a class of its own.
